Robert Crisp Ph.D. is an analytical and innovative scientist and executive leader with extensive experience supporting emerging/startup companies as well as large, multinational organizations across the IVD device industry. He was a key contributor to the development of BioFire’s FilmArray system and all FDA-cleared clinical panels. BioFire was subsequently acquired by Biomerieux in 2014 for $450M. Dr. Crisp has international experience as an expatriate to France and has worked with culturally diverse teams. Upon returning to the U.S., he led Biomerieux’s microbiology franchise. Dr. Crisp earned a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine in 2002.
