Patty is the founder and CEO of BEAMS, LLC Consulting and The Max List, as well as the Convener for ISO Technical Committee 212 Working Group 5, which developed ISO 35001:2019 – Biorisk Management in Laboratories. Previously, Patty was Executive Director of the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC), Assistant Vice President in Research Administration at Emory University and Healthcare, and held leadership roles in Environmental Health and Safety within academia, healthcare, and the pharmaceutical industry. Patty has a BS in Biochemistry from Texas A&M University and a JM from Emory University School of Law.
