Ben has over 10 years of experience developing novel aerosol instrumentation in the fields of atmospheric science, climatology, materials characterization, and bioaerosol devices. He is a former NASA Earth and Space Science Fellow Ben is a co-inventor of Varro’s Pathogen Air Quality Monitor and point-of-care Breath Test devices. He received a B.S. in Physics and an M.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Ph.D. in Energy, Environmental, and Chemical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis.
