Molly Fitzhenry

Molly Fitzhenry has built her career at the intersection of molecular biology and laboratory operations.She started her journey in agricultural biotech startups where she developed technical expertise in molecular biology screening transgenic and gene edited crops. Her work evolved to include building ELN workflows and creating operational structures that support research at scale. She brings a strong understanding of both laboratory work and the systems needed to move scientific programs forward.

At Varro Life Sciences, Molly leads laboratory operations and helps translate research priorities into reliable execution. Her scope includes equipment, inventory management, safety & compliance programs and digital laboratory infrastructure. She focuses on building processes that can support Varro’s research and its mission in rapid pathogen detection. Molly completed the Applied Biotechnology program at St. Louis Community College and holds a B.S. in Biotechnology from Webster University.
