Varro Bio Michael Mina

Michael Mina, M.D., Ph.D. is an epidemiologist, immunologist and physician. He is a leading

global expert in immunizations and testing for pandemic and outbreak response, including surveillance and medical

diagnostic testing. He routinely advises the US federal government, including leaders within the

White House, CDC, FDA and NIH as well as national and international corporations.

He was formerly a professor of Epidemiology and Immunology at Harvard T. H. Chan

School of Public Health and a professor of pathology at Harvard Medical School, and was associate Medical Director in Clinical Microbiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He led the Broad Institute COVID-19 testing platform that provided results for nearly 30 million PCR tests. His research and expertise, particularly around the use of testing, has informed national policies in the US and globally. Dr. Mina is currently the Chief Medical Officer of Invivyd, the Chief Medical and Strategy Officer of Truvian and is co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer of Anywhere Dx.
